The objective of this event was to give career directions for 10+2 and Graduate students. ASSOCHAM Education Fair 2009, 5th in the series had showcased the entire spectrum of education horizon and industry. It provided an insight into current subjects and courses available to new generation students and elucidate various schemes and programmes being offered by national Institutions as well as Government Departments.

OOH Media partners with Dakshina Chitra for fund raising show

OOH Media had partnered with Dakshina Chitra for Krtya fundraiser fashion show 2009 as the out-of-home TV partner. Dakshina Chitra is a center for the living traditions of art, folk performing arts, raft and architecture of India with an emphasis on the traditions of South India and is a project of the Madras Craft Foundation (MCF), a non-profit organization in Chennai.

The Krtya fashion show was held on 28th March 2009 at Taj Coromandel in Chennai. The Crème de la crème of Chennai’s socialites and celebrities were in full attendance for the Krtya fundraiser fashion show 2009. The host for the evening was the evergreen Anita Ratnam. She took the audience throughout the show with poise and later in the show; she captivated every one with a graceful performance.

The fashion show saw stunning models set the ramp on fire with their killer looks. However, it was the creations themselves that took centre-stage, beautifully crafted with delicate embroidery, opulent beads and elegant stones, the clothes which were designed by Fashion designers Rehane and Jean Francois Lesage. Shruti Hassan surprised the gathering with her appearance on the ramp and earned whooping applause.

But that wasn’t all, there were also classical and folk acts that kept the audiences enthralled.
Spotted at the show were photographer French Ambassador and French Consulate officials, duo Monica and Bharat, socialite Minnie Menon, Sharan Apparao and Ranvir Shah among others.

The event is organized by FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) and Indian Television Academy to salute the women achievers of the country every year. The Awards were started in the year 2003 and have grown over the years. The platform of this Award-Ceremony is also used to raise a voice for ‘beti’, a movement to spread awareness against the cursed mindset of Female Foeticide, rampant all across the country, today.

The event which encourages women’s power and achievement every year, honour the Women with unparalleled contribution in their respective feilds and has made the Country proud. This Awards function is one of its kind as it covers 25 different categories and the awardees, are leaders in their fields and come from all parts of the country. OOH Media has joined hands with Mumbai International Boat Show 2009 as the out-of-home TV partner. The event was held from the 19th February to 22nd February 2009 at MMRDA Grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

Mumbai International Boat Show provides an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about the boating industry. The event is targeted at marine and boating companies from all over the world. The aim of the event is to display an extensive range of small and medium sized boats, water sports equipment and luxury products, engines etc. In short, MIBS plays an important role in the development of Indian leisure boating and water sports industry

The kind of people who come for this event are High net worth individuals, businessmen, professionals related to marine industry, Mumbai’s elite, ambassadors and many more.

Approximately 150 exhibitors display the latest small and medium-sized boats, state-of-the-art watersports equipment and sailing accessories.

The show also served as the platform for the official launch of the Indian National recreational boating industry trade association under ‘FICCI’, The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
