OOH Media introduces special vignettes for World Environment Day

India’s leading digital out-of-home company OOH Media in lieu of the World Environment Day is taking a step towards its commitment to the society by announcing its campaign under the property of ‘OOH Cares’ to educate its viewers on how each one of us can contribute to the environment as India celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 09 along with other countries. The theme this year reflects the urgency for nations to take adaptation and mitigation measures to address climate change consistence with the policy of sustainable development.

OOH Media screens are currently running a campaign on Global Environment with specially designed vignettes “OOH says No To” and “Green Wheels”. The campaign is currently on air on all OOH Media screens across all clusters across the nation.

Specially designed vignette “Ooh says No To” talks about how small steps taken by each one of us can help save the environment. 3 different with 2 such steps are on air currently. E.g. One of the message says say no to paper bills and unnecessary print outs, so subscribe for online bills. Save Paper Save Trees. The vignettes are of 20 second duration each.

In another specially designed vignette “Green Wheels” talks about various car maintenance tips which can reduce the pollution emission. The idea is to reduce the pollution emission thus increase the performance of the car and turn the car into ‘Green Wheels’. 3 different vignettes with 1 fact each has been prepared. The vignettes are of 15 sec duration each.

The aim behind the campaign is to promote the day that has been marked by the United Nations to observe as World Environment Day to give a human face to environmental issues, empower to become agents of sustainable and equitable development, promote to change attitude regarding the environment and advocate partnership between each human being and each society to ensure a safer and more prospers future.

OOH Media has earlier supported various CSR tie-ups like the ‘Say No To Tobacco’, the fund-raising art exhibit by CPAA, partnered with Akanksha, Unicef and many more as it is a powerful and effective communication medium which can talk local as well as national to the viewers in their language.
